What are alumni doing now? Mariana Costa, Class of 1993

My father's job brought us from Sao Paulo to Surrey in 1989, and I spent four years at TASIS doing the IB with friends from eleven countries. I still have the yearbook to prove it.

I went on to Columbia, then into emerging-markets finance in New York, where I have been for twenty-five years. Today I am a managing director at a fund that invests across Latin America.

I co-chair the New York hub with two classmates. Our February all-class reunion has become the evening the whole East Coast TASIS family plans its winter around - if you are in the city, join the hub and you will hear about the next one first.
